Yep, back to it. Appears I've fixed the wireless in my laptop. Seems the asinine settings in the BIOS turn off full functionality in the card when a BIOS password is enabled. I had mirrored all my drives, cleaned out my personal files, and reset the passwords to get it ready to ship out for repair, and viola! Wireless lights.
Assholes. And I don't want to dick with a BIOS update, even if one is available. Damn.
Anyway, here I am now, mobile and connected. Ah, the sweetness.
